Overton S. Anderson, Of Counsel

Overton Anderson founded the firm in 1980 after an already successful career as a partner with a large Little Rock law firm. For well over three decades, he has set the standard for excellence that has become the hallmark of the firm’s client-driven practice. While now Of Counsel, he continues to provide invaluable insight and advice to the firm and its clients. Overton is an experienced litigator who has tried well over 100 jury trials to verdict in state and federal courts throughout Arkansas. For the past 30 years, he concentrated his practice in the defense of physicians and hospitals in medical malpractice cases, although he has continued to defend other professionals, including architects, engineers, and attorneys in a variety of suits. Overton has always maintained an active insurance coverage practice for both insurers and insureds and continues to be one of the foremost attorneys in the state on coverage-related issues. Overton is AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell—the highest rating for ethics and legal ability—and is a fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers. He has been recognized by Super Lawyers and by Best Lawyers in America and continues to serve as a member of numerous professional organizations, including the William R. Overton Inn of Court of which he is a charter member and past president.
